23-year-old singer-songwriter Merunisa is taking over the UK Alternative RnB scene and is starting off her 2022 release run with the vibrant and catchy ‘Henny n Ice’ produced by London-based artist Crxssxs. My Thoughts:

Henny N Ice is full of summer vibes and forgetting about the troubles at hand. Merunisa's soft vocals glide across Crxssxs's upbeat production. This song feels like letting go in the middle of summer with a drink in your hand. The build in the prechorus creates tension through the sound of a guitar as Merunisa sings about wanting to forget various things which lays the groundwork before the beat drops and the chorus unfolds. All that tension breaks lose and the chorus floats through, making you feel looser and free. The perfect song to put on at any summertime event.
